We have completed the cleaning of the Mexico Laundromat. Attached are several before and after pics. All dryers were severely impacted by lint. Most of the drums had lint clogged around outside of drum, and around belt promoting a fire hazard. Lint boxes not being regularly emptied are resulting in screens becoming damaged and inefficient. We are not an appliance repair company but in our humble opinion each of these units needs to be checked to ensure it is functioning properly and safely.
We cleaned every line, vent, lint trap/box, and main ducts as well as vacuuming back panels, floors, and surrounding area. We had to move Fastrac food supplies out of back vent room to clean. To avoid further complications with officials and possible fines, the Fastrac food supplies should not be located in this area. (images show after we removed 30-50 boxes of food supplies from the back room.)
Based on our evaluation during cleaning it is our recommendation that these dryers be cleaned no less than every 6-months.
